Tumalo House

This weekend retreat is specifically positioned on the land to take full advantage of the landscape and views that surround it. Its unique plan was designed to capture uninterrupted views of the Three Sisters mountains in Central Oregon. The house incorporates essential elements from venacular structures in the area. Exposed timber construction and abundant natural light and ventilation make the house feel larger than it is, as well as establish a feeling of connection with the outdoors.
