This Food Court Tenants concept is to create a store that feels like a local fruit stand fresh, warm and inviting. The product is juices and smoothies and the selling point is the fruit itself. The light fixtures were chosen both for color and shape with warm, colorful ceramic tiles as a backdrop. The front counter is made of a rusted metal similar to what might be found in local fruit stands throughout Oregons Willamette Valley. The design is meant to be referential of the Oregon region. Chesshir Architecture created two stores for this client, one in the Cascades food court at Pioneer Place mall in downtown Portland, and another in the Oregon Market at Portland International Airport.
